Why the identifiers read SAMPLE-001, not an IMO number. These vessels do not exist. An invented seven-digit number would either fail the IMO check-digit test or collide with a real ship, so we do not print one. Every IMO field in the product is check-digit validated; the sample fleet is labelled rather than dressed up.
